Day 01 Arrival Delhi
Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India. Upon arrival, our representative will welcome you at the airport arrival lounge and transfer you to your hotel. Delhi is a city that offers a glimpse of both ancient and modern-day India. It is the third largest city in India and one of the fastest growing in Asia. This city is rich in culture, always changing with time but never hiding its splendid past. The various ancient ruins seen in the city are silent witnesses to its magnificent history. We will start our first adventure of a food tour with a difference, Visit the KITCHEN OF THE SIKH TEMPLE, DELHI - Something truly wonderful happens when people share this experience and you will be able to feel the energy that exists in the kitchen. The meals here are vegetarian comprising of lentils and vegetables that are cooked in large pots. The temple is known to feed ten thousand people in a day and this Herculean task is overseen by one chef and is staffed 100% by volunteers.
Day 02 Delhi
Be mesmerized by the charm of Old Delhi.Visit the extensive Red Fort, the Jama Masjid Mosque, India’s largest and renowned as the most elegant mosque in India. Enjoy a rickshaw ride and visit the old winding lanes of ChandniChowk market. ChandniChowk is a special place to be in. It's a unique market which carries the very essence of ancient India. On the narrow streets, you can see a number of shops that are lined together. Also visit the spice market- KhariBaoli.

Take a trip down history at Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In the afternoon, we take in the sights of New Delhi including the India Gate, a war memorial commemorating the Indian soldiers killed in the World War II. Drive towards the magnificent Presidential Palace and Government buildings. Visit Humayun’s Tomb with its several tombs of pacochit Mughal Emperors and QutubMinar, India’s tallest stone tower made of red sandstone and considered an architectural marvel of the 13th century.
Day 03 Delhi - Agra
Post Breakfast we will depart to the land of the beautiful TajMahal, Agra is dotted with many beautiful monuments built by the mighty Mughal emperors. During its time Agra was a center of culture and art, learning and commerce. The famous seat of Mughals, the city also remained the capital of India during Aurangzeb's rule and finally came under British rule in 1803. Make it a point to cherish the delectable Mughal cuisine on your visit to Agra.
Day 04 Agra
Feast your eyes to the early morning beauty of the TajMahal(Closed on Friday), the manifestation of the wealth and luxury of Mughal art as seen in its architecture, garden design, painting, and calligraphy. After breakfast visit Agra Fort- Made of red sandstone the Agra Fort was renovated and converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time. In the process it got a face lift with extensive marble work and pietradura inlay. The fort houses the Pearl Mosque, the Diwan-e-Am and Diwan-e-Khas (halls of public and private audience), Jehangir's Palace, KhaasMahal, Sheesh Mahal (mirrored palace), and MusammanBurj. Meet our local family and join a Mughlai cooking demonstration. Mughlai cuisine refers to dishes that were developed during the opulent Mughal Empire period. Dishes tend to be rich and reflect a combination of cooking styles and recipes from Central Asia and North India. Meet a passionate cook, who'll teach you how to prepare classics such as malaikisabzi (vegetables cooked with cream) and onion paratha (flatbread stuffed with onions and potato). The menu will, of course, depend on the season.
Day 05 Agra - Jaipur / via Fatephursikri & Bharathpur
Travel to Jaipur, dressed in pink, Jaipur the royal city of Rajasthan, is the perfect blend of heritage, palaces, culture and art. Enroute visit FatehpurSikri, a city built in red sandstone by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son. A royal city perfectly preserved, FatehpurSikri provides a marvelous peek into the past. Imposing gateways and majestic palaces were built in red sandstone within this fortified city only to be abandoned a few years later. Among its many architectural splendors are the palaces for his queens - JodhaBai, Mariyam and his Turkish sultana, built in varying styles, each perfect in itself. Drive and reach the destination of the day, the city dressed in pink, Jaipur the royal city of Rajasthan, is the perfect blend of heritage, palaces, culture and art. Steeped in history and culture, the past comes alive here amidst the stunning backdrop of ancient forts: Nahargarh, Amer, Jaigarh and MotiDoongari are fitting testimonials of the bygone era and a reminder of their lingering romance and chivalry.

In the evening visit the vibrant Johori Bazaar, a treasure trove of art and jewelery craftsmanship. Jostle with local shoppers as they come for traditional Rajasthani fabrics and saris, colorful embroidered footwear called mojris, to visit their local jewelers for the well-known minakari style of jeweler or to buy simple marigold necklaces from the flower sellers at Tripolia bazaar. Day 06 Jaipur
Set out early to visit the Amber fort. You will pass by the captivating sight of the Wind Palace. You may opt to hop on to an elephant’s back and enjoy the ascent to the fort. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the rooftop of the fort. You will not forgive yourself it you left your camera behind. The fort is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountain Ranges and the great wall of Amber. The Mirror Palace, Persian Gardens, The Turkish Baths, Diwan-e-aam, Ganesh-Pole are the finest example of the Indo-Islamic architecture.

After lunch proceed to visit the City Palace, the royal residence of Jaipur. Housed within the City Palace is the Chandra mahal (the moon palace), Mubarak mahal (the welcome palace) and the Palace Museum. Next to the City Palace is Jantar Mantar a scientific observatory built by astrologer King Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1728 AD. Singh measured time by the course of the sun’s shadow and charted the annual progress through the zodiac. The various instruments in the observatory help you see the science behind astrology. Overnight in Jaipur
Day 07 Jaipur - Bijapur
Drive to Castle bijapur, farming communities. This is a major agricultural area and, depending on the season, you will pass through fields growing wheat, corn, maize, lentils, aubergine, spinach, fenugreek, okra, green chilies, tomatoes, potatoes, gourd, onion and garlic. Some of India’s known spices, such as turmeric and cumin, are also grown here. Evening, Join the family in their kitchen for a class in traditional Indian cooking. The lady of the house, using locally sourced produce. Overnight in Bijaipur.
DAY 08 BIJAPUR – UDAIPUR
Today you will drive to Udaipur, Explore the City Palace and Museum, it is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Pratap Memorial has the bronze statue of MaharanaPratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. Visit the JagdishTemple, which was built in 1651 AD. Feel at peace at the Saheliyon Ki Bari a small ornamental garden. Enjoy an early evening boat ride into the placid waters of Lake Pichola, from where you can catch wonderful views of the City Palace stretching along the east bank, and the gardens that run down to the south bank waterside. Overnight in Udaipur
Day 09 Udaipur
Head towards the village of Dhar, where you will see villagers’ cattle grazing, meet with a few locals, visit their homes and observe them carrying out their daily chores around the village. Following this stop, continue on towards Ubeshwarji. This part of the trek, a mix of undulating terrain and uphill climbs, passes through various small villages and hamlets. You will come across the Bhil Tribe (one of Rajasthan’s oldest indigenous tribes) and a few other communities, such as an old warrior clan of Rajputs, who are now mostly farmers. The walk concludes at Ubeshwarji, a popular religious site for the people of Udaipur. There are a couple of temples here, one dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the other to the Mother Goddess. Enjoy the panoramic view of the countryside before the drive back to your hotel in Udaipur. Afternoon enjoy lunch with the local family. Overnight in Udaipur
Day 10 Flight Udaipur - Mumbai
Late morning depart to Udaipur airport to catch flight to Mumbai, On arrival you are meet and greeted and transfer hotel, check in and relax, overnight stay in Mumbai
Day 11 Mumbai
This Morning city tour leads us you to the Gateway of India – a former colonial monument and now a popular emblem of the city and a hubbub of life. The gate was built 1924-1927 to commemorate King George V’s visit in 1911. Later proceed to visit Shri Adishwarji Jain Temple - The ceiling is aglow in warmer, richer shades of the reds and depicts the signs of the zodiac.As its name suggests, the temple is Lord Adishwar (also known as Rushabhdev), the first of 24 Jain “Tirthankaras” (special liberated souls who have attained omniscience, and guide other souls from the cycle of death and rebirth) of the current era. And visit Haji Ali Dargah (Depends upon Tide condition) Constructed in the year 1431, the sculptured and elegant whitewashed structure of the dargah showcases the brilliant work of Indo-Islamic style of architecture. Spread over an area of 4,500 square meters, the dargah is actually a complex that houses the tomb of the Muslim Saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari and a Masjid.
